1. Accepting these terms
By accessing or using Glow, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use Glow for an organization, you represent that you may accept these terms for it.
2. The service
Glow provides an affirmation library, audio playback, custom affirmation and audio creation, account sync, listening progress, shareable progress images, and related features through our website and code-editor extension. Features may change as we improve the product.
Glow supports personal reflection and focused practice. It is not medical, psychological, financial, or other professional advice and is not a substitute for qualified care. If you are in immediate danger or crisis, contact local emergency or crisis services.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for the identity-provider account used to sign in, activity under your Glow account, and keeping your devices secure. Give us accurate information and notify support@justglow.dev if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may delete your Glow account from the dashboard. Account deletion is permanent, removes your associated product data, and immediately cancels connected active subscriptions and benefits. Records required by law or legitimate accounting and security needs may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Free and Premium plans
Glow may offer free features and a paid Premium subscription. The price, currency, billing period, taxes, and included features shown at checkout form part of your purchase. Premium subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
You can manage or cancel a subscription through the billing portal in your dashboard. Unless applicable law or checkout terms require otherwise, cancellation stops future renewals and paid access continues through the current billing period. Refund requests are handled under applicable law and the payment terms shown at checkout.
5. Your content
You keep your rights in affirmation text and other content you submit. You give Glow a limited, non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, process, generate audio from, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the features you use.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit your content and that it does not violate law or another person’s rights. Do not submit confidential credentials, payment-card data, medical records, or content you are not authorized to process.
6. Generated audio
Custom audio is produced by automated systems and can vary between generations. It may contain pronunciation, pacing, emphasis, or other errors. You are responsible for listening to and choosing a recording before relying on or sharing it. Glow does not guarantee a particular outcome from an affirmation or from using the service.
7. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Break the law, violate another person’s rights, or submit unlawful content.
- Probe, disrupt, overload, bypass limits, or interfere with Glow or its providers.
- Access another person’s account or data without authorization.
- Use automated means to abuse generation, billing, authentication, or sharing features.
- Resell the service or generated access unless we agree in writing.
- Misrepresent progress cards, affiliation with Glow, or the source of content.
8. Glow’s rights and software
Glow and its licensors own the service, brand, design, website, and non-user content. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use Glow for its intended purpose. Software components distributed under an open-source license remain governed by that license where it conflicts with these terms.
9. Third-party services
Glow relies on services including identity providers, Supabase, Cloudflare, Polar, ElevenLabs, Visual Studio Code, and extension marketplaces. Their services and separate terms may affect availability or your use of particular features. Glow is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Glow at any time. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, respond to legal obligations, address nonpayment, or enforce these terms. Where appropriate, we will try to provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
11. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Glow is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Glow will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities. Glow’s aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Glow in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD 100. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.
13. Changes and general terms
We may update these terms as Glow changes. We will post the revised terms and effective date, and provide additional notice for material changes when reasonably possible. Continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept them.
Applicable law governs these terms without overriding consumer protections that apply where you live. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; Glow may transfer it as part of a reorganization or business transfer.
