1. Who we are
Glow provides affirmation playback, custom audio generation, account sync, billing, and listening progress through the Glow website and code-editor extension. In this policy, “Glow,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator of justglow.dev and the Glow Affirmations extension.

2. Information we collect
Account information
When you sign in, we receive account identifiers and profile information made available by the identity provider you choose, such as your name, username, avatar, and email address.
Your affirmations and audio
We store the custom affirmation text you submit, audio-generation records, the recording you select, and the files needed to play it. Please do not include passwords, financial details, medical records, or other secrets in an affirmation.
Practice and product data
We process favorites, playback sessions, listening time, repetitions, streaks, timestamps, time-zone offsets, theme and volume preferences, extension connection state, and related product settings.
Billing information
Polar processes checkout and payment details. We receive customer, order, subscription, product, status, price, and renewal information needed to provide Premium access. Glow does not receive your full card number.
Technical and support information
Our infrastructure may process IP addresses, browser or device information, request logs, security events, and diagnostics. If you contact us, we also receive the contents of your message and the information you choose to provide.
3. How we use information
- Authenticate you and connect the website and extension to the same account.
- Create, store, play, and sync affirmations and selected audio.
- Measure and present your listening history, repetitions, and streak.
- Process subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and Premium entitlement.
- Secure, diagnose, maintain, and improve the service.
- Respond to support, legal, and privacy requests.
Where applicable, we rely on performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing Glow, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where the law requires it.
4. Service providers and sharing
We use a small set of providers to operate Glow:
- Supabase for authentication, database, and audio-file storage.
- Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, networking, and security.
- Polar for checkout, subscriptions, billing, and customer portals.
- ElevenLabs to turn submitted affirmation text into audio.
- GitHub, and other identity providers we may offer, for sign-in.
These providers process information on our behalf or under their own terms as needed to provide their part of the service. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
5. Google account data
If Google sign-in is offered and you choose it, Glow will request only the basic account data needed to authenticate you, such as your Google account identifier, name, avatar, and email address. We use that data to create or connect your Glow account and display your identity in the product.
Glow’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google account data for advertising, sell it, or use it to train generalized artificial-intelligence models.
6. Cookies and local storage
Glow uses authentication cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember product preferences, preserve playback state, and protect account flows. We do not use advertising cookies. Browser or editor settings may let you clear locally stored data, but doing so can sign you out or reset preferences.
7. Retention and account deletion
We retain account and product data while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide, secure, and support Glow. You can permanently delete your account from the account menu in the dashboard. Deletion removes the account and associated practice data from the live service, removes stored custom-audio files, and cancels and anonymizes the connected Polar customer.
Limited records may remain where required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legal obligations. Encrypted backups and security logs may remain for a limited period before aging out under our normal retention process.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. Use the dashboard to delete your account or contact us to exercise another right. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
9. Security and international processing
We use access controls, encryption in transit, restricted server credentials, and other reasonable safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Glow and its providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to the safeguards required by applicable law.
10. Children
Glow is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires one. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, please contact us so we can investigate and remove it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Glow changes. We will publish the revised version here and update the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice when reasonably possible.
